Hi, my name is Noor. This blog is a collection of the food I consume, the fun stories behind them and the illustrations I doodle along the way. A few years ago, I was in a stressful environment, living far away from my family and dealing with health problems related to my gut (think gastric issues, bloating, inflammation, etc). Having a busy schedule with no time and energy to care for my body made everything worse. I was rocking back and forth between trying to eat just anything to get by and being sick because I wasn’t eating well. My weight had also been a concern of mine and I spent years going to the gym inconsistently only to find out I wasn’t losing any weight at all. I thought that exercise was everything but I wasn’t even eating right. After I got out of the stressful environment, I made it a goal to treat my body better, to nourish it well while enjoying simple but delicious food. To be more mindful of what I put in my body because even if everything fades away, my body is the one thing that will stay with me the longest and it deserves the utmost care. So this is me sharing my journey with you. My journey of food expressed through my art and stories of my life!
